- buffer number
- file type
- file encoding
- syntax errors (integration with Syntastic)
- indentation errors (mixed indentation, expand tab)
- trailing white spaces
- line number / total lines
- scroll position
- integration with Fugitive (git)

That should put statline.vim in ~/.vim/plugin and statline.txt in ~/.vim/doc. |
