For users who keep notes in plain text because there's too much to remember, Memobook provides a convenient way to "hashtag" them so that months (years?) later a user can still find them. This is the entire suite, but the Vim extension can be configured with config.sh without configuring any other portion of the suite. install details

Run the config.sh script with desired options. Requires sqlite3 on destination system. There is an optional Python 3 dependency for improved scanning performance in the Vim plugin. Currently supports vim-plug and pathogen utilities, as well as Vim version 8+ plugin structure.
