Submitted in response to ant.vim, this 1 liner is all I've ever needed to be completely happy and efficient with ant and vim. All the benefits of vim error parsing, with no configuration or other fiddling required.
If you don't feel like downloading the script, just put this in your .vimrc file:
set makeprg=ant\ -quiet\ -emacs\ -find\ build.xml |
